Indus World School (IWS) is a chain of academics focused and professionally managed schools that understands the demands of 21st century education. IWS promotes a learning environment that develops the cognitive as well as the aesthetic and affective mind. The vital link between theory and relevance is effectively established in our curriculum. It is our belief that Indus students will evolve into 21st century learners with strong analytical skills, people skills, foresight and creativity. IWS is established by Nalanda Foundation, a not-for-profit trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Indus World School, today is a national chain of 7 schools with presence in the following cities: Gurgaon, Indore, Raipur, Bhiwani, and Ludhiana. Bhasins (Head ??? Rajgadh Estates) are the management head of Indus World School, Ludhiana.

TRUST-AND-THE-BOARD-OF-TRUSTEES

Indus World Schools is under the aegis of Rajgadh Estates, a not-for-profit Trust. The Board of Trustees are honored to serve as stewards of the School???s mission and vision. The Board has fiduciary responsibility for the governance of the school, strengthening resources to propel students achieving excellence beyond the classroom.

The prime focus of the members is to focus on strengthening the foundation of entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and social responsibility in every student and truly commit to the schools??? mission of developing students with great personal legacies.

GOVERNING COUNCIL AND LEADERSHIP TEAM

The Governing Council has three main areas of responsibility:

Policy Making
The Council determines the school???s objectives and ensures that those objectives are appropriately achieved.

Finances
The Council sets the budget for each year and makes certain that the schools operate within its fiscal limits. The Council is also responsible for the proper management of School???s funds.

Appointment of the Head of School
The Council delegates all administrative functions to the Head of each Indus World School.
